Class 1 Tramper Driver - Fridge Work

Location: Grimsby

Pay: Competitive rates + £25 night-out allowance

Schedule: Full-time | Ongoing work | Local & Nationwide deliveries

The Best Connection are recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Tramper Driver to join a busy refrigerated logistics operation based in Grimsby. This is an ongoing role, Monday to Friday, delivering frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses across the UK, with a mix of local and nationwide routes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience driving Class 1 (C+E)
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DRs, IN10s or DGs)
• Experience with fridge trailers preferred
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
• Willingness to tramp Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Deliver frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses
• Ensure temperature integrity of loads
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects
