Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Nights

Location: Tamworth
Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | Start times between 22:00 - 01:00
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to work with our client in Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional HGV drivers looking for regular Monday to Friday night work, competitive pay and ongoing employment.

The Role

As a Class 1 Night Driver, your duties will include:

• Multidrop deliveries to dealerships
• Backloading of goods
• Handling roll cages and tote boxes
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
• Following all driver's hours, health & safety and transport regulations
• Average shift length of approximately 10 hours
• Start times between 22:00 and 01:00.

Pay & Working Hours

• £19.50 per hour
• Monday - Friday
• Start times between 22:00 - 01:00
• Approximately 10-hour shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 6 month's commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Comfortable with some manual handling
• Good customer service skills
