The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to carry out ad hoc work for our client in Tamworth. This is a flexible role, ideal for drivers looking for varied shifts, sometimes at short notice.

Job Role

• Delivering palletised loads across the UK
• Using an electric pump truck for loading/unloading
• Completing depot drops, trunking routes, and occasional port drops
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Following delivery schedules and instructions accurately
• Communicating with the transport team to ensure efficient operations

Pay & Working Hours

• £155.00 Day rate
• Monday to Friday work available
• Start times from 01:00 onwards
• Shift lengths may vary (short shifts possible, full day rate paid)
• Flexible, ad hoc shifts depending on client requirements

Requirements

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence
• CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph card
• Own transport required due to early start times and location
• Reliable and flexible for last-minute bookings
