The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV driver looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. You will be working as part of a professional and reliable team, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Duties will include:

• Driving a Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle
• Carrying out deliveries and/or collections as required
• Loading and unloading where necessary
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Adhering to all driving and working time regulations
• Maintaining a professional and courteous manner at all times

£15.00 per hour

06:00 starts

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of driving laws and regulations
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Good communication skills
