A leading specialist in the galvanising steel industry is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join their team on a long-term ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver seeking stable employment, consistent weekday work and regular overtime opportunities.

The Role

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) flatbed vehicle
• 06:00 start time
• Monday to Friday
• Nationwide deliveries of galvanised steel products
• Securing steel loads using ratchet straps
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring all loads are transported safely and in line with industry regulations

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence held for a minimum of 3 years
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience securing steel loads using ratchet straps
• Good knowledge of load restraint and load safety regulations
• Ability to complete a driving assessment and site induction
• A professional and reliable attitude
