Job Title: Class 1 Driver (Days/Nights & Trampers)

Location: Padiham BB12

Salary: Days & Tramping: £16.50 per hour (Night Out Allowance for Trampers)
             Nights: £18.00 per hour

Job Description:
Days:
Operate a curtain-sided trailer delivering palletised goods.
No handball or tail lift operation required.
Consistent role working Monday to Friday. 
Short induction on the first shift.
Nights:
Trunking runs to central hubs.
No handball or tail lift operation required.
Consistent role working Monday to Friday. 
Short induction on the first shift.
Trampers:
Tramp out for 4 nights, performing long-distance deliveries.
Potential for a 5th night, returning on Saturday.
No handball or tail lift operation required.
Consistent role working Monday to Friday. 
Short induction on the first shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Perform vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 licence (minimum 1 year of driving experience).
• CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
