Class 1 Tramping Driver - Temp to Perm Opportunity

Accrington‑based client | Immediate start available

We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Driver for a well‑established client based in Accrington. This is a 16‑week temp‑to‑perm opportunity, offering long‑term stability and the chance to secure a full‑time permanent position at the end of the assignment.

Working Pattern

• Tramping - nights out Monday to Thursday
• Routes planned in advance
• Immediate start available, subject to assessment and compliance checks

Pay & Allowances

• £14.00 per hour (flat rate)
• £26.20 per night out
• Regular, consistent work each week

Job Role

• Nationwide trunking and delivery work
• Typical destinations include Swansea, Andover, and Redditch, depending on the planned route
• Well‑maintained vehicles
• Professional transport operation with planned routes and support

Temp to Perm Details

• Driver supplied on a 16‑week temp‑to‑perm basis
• Opportunity to transition into a full‑time permanent role with the client upon successful completion of the assignment

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph legislation
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable with tramping work
