Class 1 Driver - Accrington (Temp to Perm)

£13.75 per hour | Overtime & Premium Rates | Minimum 6 Months Experience Required

We are currently recruiting a Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a temp to perm opportunity based in Accrington, offering excellent earning potential and long-term stability.

Pay & Benefits

• £13.75 per hour
• Time and a half after 40 hours
• Double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays
• Double time for any hours worked between 00:00 - 04:00 (unsociable hours)
• £30 night out allowance

Contract

• Temp to Perm (14 weeks)
• Opportunity to move onto a permanent contract after 14 weeks

Job Details

• Class 1 driving work
• Mixture of trunking and deliveries (depending on client requirements)
• Potential for night out work
• Ensuring all loads are transported safely and efficiently
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations
• Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
