Class 1 Night Trunk Driver - Long‑Standing, Reputable Business

Are you an experienced Class 1 (C+E) night trunk driver looking for stable, ongoing work with a respected and well‑established company?

We're seeking a reliable driver to join our night operation, carrying out straightforward trunking runs with no handball involved.

Location:

Blackburn/Darwen

Night shifts between 18:00 - 06:00

Pay Rates

• £18.60 per hour - Minimum 8 hours
• After 8 hours: £20.53 per hour
• Night premium (20:00-06:00): £20.53 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out full vehicle and trailer checks before and after each shift
  • Lights, tyres, brakes, coupling/uncoupling, load securing, defect reporting
• Complete straightforward trunk runs to RDCs and depots
• Accurate completion of all paperwork and digital records
• Safe and compliant driving in line with EU Drivers' Hours, WTD, and company policies
• Maintain a professional attitude while representing a long‑standing, respected business

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) experience
• Valid C+E licence, Digi Tacho, and CPC
• Strong understanding of driver safety and compliance
• Ability to work reliable night shifts
• No handball involved - just clean, efficient trunking work
