HGV Class 1 Driver - Temp to Perm

Location: Bilston

Pay: £16.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday

Start Times: Between 05:00-07:00

Shifts: 10-12 hours (occasional night out)

About the Role

We are recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for a temp‑to‑perm opportunity with a well‑established company based in Bilston. This role involves flatbed work, delivering plant machinery to sites across the region. You will receive full training, and while night outs are not regular, they may be required on occasion.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating a Class 1 vehicle with flatbed trailers
• Delivering plant machinery safely and efficiently
• Securing loads in line with company and safety standards
• Completing vehicle checks and maintaining accurate paperwork
• Working 10-12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
• Maximum 3 points on licence
• Confident with flatbed or willing to be trained
• Reliable, professional, and safety‑focused
