HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Day Drivers - Cramlington - £14.75 per hour

The Best Connection is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers for day shift work with a well-established client based in Cramlington, operating within the palletised distribution sector.

This is a great opportunity for both experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers and newly qualified drivers looking to gain valuable Class 1 driving experience in a professional and supportive environment.

The Role:

• Start time: 08:00 AM
• Monday to Friday only - no weekend work
• Trunking work - limited manual handling involved
• Collection and delivery of palletised goods
• Providing cover for sickness and holiday leave, with regular ongoing work available

The Candidate:

• Must hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) driving licence
• Newly qualified drivers welcome
• No more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)
• Reliable, safety-conscious and professional
• Previous Class 1 driving experience advantageous but not essential

Pay & Hours:

• £14.75 per hour (PAYE)
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM starts
• Weekly pay with holiday pay accrued
