Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:45
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary Assignment

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client based in Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV driver looking for regular weekday work with straightforward routes and no handballing involved.

The Role

As a Class 1 (C+E) Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries safely and efficiently while providing a professional service to customers.

Duties will include:

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle
• Completing easy, straightforward delivery routes
• No handballing required
• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork
• Ensuring compliance with driver's hours and working time regulations
• Maintaining a professional and reliable service

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Minimum 2 year's commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience (essential)
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of transport legislation
• Reliable and professional attitude
