Class 1 Driver

Location: Tamworth

Pay Rate: £18 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am Start

Contract: Adhoc

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our client's busy operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for an Ah-doc role.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Trunking work
• Completing local and regional deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Yard shunting and vehicle movements when required.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C) Driving Licence. (2 years experience)
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience delivering building materials is desirable.
• Comfortable with shunting and yard movements.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
