Commis Chef - Penrith

£13.50 per hour | 8.30am to 5pm (Occasionally till 7pm based on events)

About the Roles

We're looking for a commis chef to join our friendly kitchen team in Penrith. You'll be part of a team that takes pride in cooking everything from scratch using the best local and seasonal ingredients.

With a menu that changes every three months, you'll have the opportunity to work creatively with fresh produce, learn new techniques, and deliver dishes that leave a lasting impression on our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard
• Work closely with the team to deliver a smooth and efficient service
• Support junior team members and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
• Follow menu specifications, assist with ordering and stock control when required
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards, completing required records

About You

• Experience in a kitchen is benefitial
• A passion for cooking from scratch with fresh, seasonal produce
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• A team player with great communication and a positive attitude
• Enthusiastic about learning, creativity, and consistency
