Catering Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Eaglescliffe

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 1:00pm

Weekly Hours: 25 hours

Start Date: Monday 9th

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join a busy canteen based in Eaglescliffe. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for regular, part-time weekday work.

The Role

• Preparing food, including meat and fish
• Cleaning and maintaining the canteen area
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
• Washing pots, pans and crockery
• Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and tidy
• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work Monday to Friday
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• Ability to work as part of a team

Additional Information

• Monday to Friday working pattern
• 8:00am - 1:00pm
• 25 hours per week
• Optional 20-minute break
