We are currently recruiting for a welder for our client based in Ashford. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding based on project needs
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials
• Measure, cut, and prepare metal components
• Inspect welds for accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with specifications
• Carry out repairs, modifications, and fabrication tasks as required
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure safe operation
• Follow all company safety procedures, risk assessments, and PPE requirements
• Work collaboratively with fabricators, engineers, and site teams

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
• Strong understanding of multiple welding techniques (MIG/TIG/Stick)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Competent in using hand and power tools
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
• Relevant welding certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, coded welding) preferred
