This role entails working outdoors and picking through recycling waste and Cable Stripping

• 07.00 - 16.30

• Monday to Friday 
• Saturdays offered as overtime through busy periods

Job Description: Cable Stripper (Outdoor Recycling Environment)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate a cable stripping machine to strip cables.
• Palletize and band the finished product for dispatch.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.

Special Requirements:

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Disposable coveralls, ventilated face masks, gloves, and other statutory PPE must be worn at all times in the operational area.
• Blood Lead Testing: Employees will undergo blood lead tests before starting work, with follow-up tests every three months. These tests measure lead exposure, which is minimal risk when proper PPE is worn and good hygiene is maintained.
• Working Outdoors: This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all onsite health and safety regulations at all times.

• Health Monitoring: Be willing to undergo regular blood tests (every 3 months) to monitor lead exposure levels.
