The Best Connection Birmingham are looking for a Buyer for an established manufacturing company in the Central Birmingham area. This is a temporary to permanent position following a successful interview. Working in an office environment communicating with industrial suppliers and clients. The ideal candidate will need a background in negotiating, purchasing orders and building client relationships.

The role will include:

  • Purchasing materials such as metals/wood/perspex for factory production
  • Communicating with suppliers
  • Negotiation of prices
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Checking inbound/outbound deliveries

The ideal candidate requires:

  • Experience in an office environment 
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in raising purchase order numbers
  • Ability to act quickly and confident in decision making

Hourly pay rate:

  • £11.44 per hour

Hours of work:

  • 08:30-17:30
