This is a varied role covering administration, customer service, sales support, purchasing, order coordination and general business support.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for their own workload, keeping on top of multiple priorities and making sure things don't get missed.
What You'll Be Doing as a Business Support Coordinator
- Providing day-to-day support to the Managing Director and wider business
- Managing correspondence, actions, appointments and follow-ups
- Dealing with customer, installer and supplier enquiries
- Preparing quotations and customer documentation
- Processing and tracking customer orders
- Maintaining CRM and customer records

- Producing spreadsheets, reports and management information
- Maintaining company, product and compliance documentation
- Coordinating meetings and following up agreed actions
- Helping keep internal systems and processes organised and up to date
- Supporting the business with general administration as required
About You
You will be organised, dependable and comfortable working in a busy small-business environment where priorities can change quickly.
We're particularly interested in someone with experience in business support, office administration, project administration, contracts administration, customer service or a similar role.
Ideally, you will have:
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Confidence dealing with customers and suppliers
- Good Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
- Experience using CRM or business management systems
- Experience with quotations, orders, invoicing or accounts administration
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently
- A practical, common-sense approach to solving problems
- A willingness to take ownership and follow things through
Experience within an electrical, engineering, construction, renewable-energy or technical business would be useful but isn't essential.
The Person We're Looking For
We're not looking for someone who simply waits to be given the next administrative task.
We want someone who enjoys being organised, keeping things moving and becoming the person others can rely on to know what is happening
You'll work closely with the Managing Director and will be given the freedom to take increasing ownership as you learn the business.
- For the right person, there will be plenty of opportunity for the role to develop as Eco-ESS continues to grow.
