Brick Cutter / Machine Production Operative

Location: Hadnall, Shrewsbury

• The Best Connection is currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Brick Cutter / Machine Production Operative (FLT Counterbalance (CB) licence and experience - essential) on behalf of our client based in Hadnall, Shrewsbury. This is a fantastic temp‑to‑perm opportunity for someone looking for long‑term, stable employment with progression and bonus potential.

Pay & Hours

• Starting pay: £12.71 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
• Pay review: After successful trial period
• Production bonus: Available after successful trial period
• Start date: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a chop saw to cut bricks to required specifications
• Following production schedules and meeting daily targets
• Inspecting bricks for quality before and after cutting
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Supporting general production and yard duties where required
• Complying with all health & safety procedures

Requirements

• FLT Counterbalance (CB) licence and experience - essential
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑conscious
• Good communication skills
• Own transport essential due to location
