Brick Cutter / Machine Production Operative

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a dedicated and hardworking Brick Cutter / Machine Production Operative on behalf of our client based in the Hadnall area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking long-term employment, with the role initially offered on a temporary basis and the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.

Key Details

• Starting Pay: £12.71 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
• Role Type: Temporary to permanent
• Start Date: Immediate start available
• Pay Review: Following successful completion of the trial period
• Production Bonus: Available after successful completion of the trial period

Responsibilities

• Operating a chop saw to cut bricks to required sizes
• Following production schedules and meeting deadlines
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Inspecting bricks for quality before and after cutting
• Supporting general production tasks as required
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks (lifting and moving materials)
• Reliable and punctual
• Own transport is essential due to location
• FLT Counterbalance (CB) experience would be beneficial
