The Best Connection are recruiting for a warehouse operative in Central Reading. This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate.

Shifts:

Weekly rotation available:

AM shift

• 5am to 1:30pm: Monday to Thursday
• 5am-1pm: Friday

PM shift

• 12-8:30pm: Monday to Thursday
• 11:30am-8pm: Friday

Late Shift available:

• 12:30pm -8:30pm: Monday to Thursday
• 11:30am to 8pm: Friday

Optional/On request

• Saturdays shifts available at 1.3% rate.
• Overtime & bonuses available.

Weekly hours: 40 hours ( 30 minute lunch break unpaid)

Pay: £15.38

Over time/Saturdays: £19.99

Salary review based on accomplishing training.

Specific tasks could include:

• Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item
• Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
• Operate saws and handle steel
• Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks and cranes.
• Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers' orders.
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
• Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

Requirements for the role:

· The successful candidate will have experience as a Warehouse Operative

· Have a flexible attitude, committed, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.

· Crane, Fork-Lift, and Side-loader experience is desirable but not essential.

· Health & Safety awareness.

· UK Driving License is desirable but not essential
