Transport Administrator -

Morning shift: 0600 - 1400

Shifts: Monday to Friday.

Pay per hour: £12.75

We have a new opporunity working with a National distribution company in Reading.

Overall responsibilities:

• To support the safe, efficient, and on-time execution of daily transport operations.
• Ensuring all driver activity is dispatched, tracked, and recorded in line with site and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily driver start-up and route dispatch.
• Maintain accurate updates on TMS (departures, delays, completions).
• Act as point of contact for drivers, resolving queries and escalating issues.
• Monitor delivery progress and highlight risks to service.
• Ensure completion of all transport paperwork and compliance checks.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse, and transport team.

Requirements

• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic transport knowledge (desirable).

• Effective issue escalation
