The Best Connection are recruiting for experienced CLASS 1 NIGHT DRIVERS to join our well established team based in PRESTON
Requirements of the driver:
- Extensive class 1 experience
- A full UK driving licence with C+E
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)
- An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
- Minimum 12 Months Experience
- 21 and Over
Day to day role includes:
- Conduct thorough checks on the vehicle and maintain the appropriate temperature levels to ensure the safe delivery of all goods
- Conduct pre and after-use vehicle checks in line with company policy
- Keep a close eye on vehicle defects and wear and tear and report them promptly
- Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and submitted on time
- Responsible for shrink wrapping and loading vehicle
Pay Rate:
These can vary from £15.50 to £19.74ph.
We are looking for night drivers, however all drivers need to be flexible in order to meet the requirements of the business.
