An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client based in Plymouth as a Warehouse Operative on a temporary to permanent basis within a food production environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including operating a Reach Forklift Truck, handling stock, and using warehouse systems to ensure goods are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key duties include:

• Operating a Reach Forklift Truck safely and in line with company procedures
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles and warehouse racking
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Using handheld scan guns to record stock movements
• Inputting and updating information on warehouse computer systems
• Carrying out stock checks and inventory control
• Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Valid Reach Forklift Licence is essential
• Previous warehouse experience is required
• IT literate, with confidence using computers and handheld scanning devices
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work night shifts and meet deadlines
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Pay rate:

• £14.52 to £15.18 per hour

Shift Schedule:

• Thursday, Friday and Saturday
• Night shift - 18:00 to 06:00
