The Best Connection Enfield are currently recruiting for a Driver's Mate on behalf of our long-term client, based in Stansted (CM22). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team delivering high-quality kitchen products to customers across the region.

Shift & Pay Details:

• Monday to Friday

• 04:00am or 06:00am start

• 12:00pm or 2:00pm finish

• £13.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the driver with the safe and timely delivery of kitchen units, appliances, and worktops to customer's homes

• Safely loading and unloading heavy kitchen components from vehicles

• Carrying products into customer's properties with care and professionalism

• Ensuring all items are handled correctly to prevent damage

• Using safe manual handling techniques at all times

• Conducting delivery checks and confirming paperwork is completed accurately

• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries

• Supporting with picking and packing kitchen supplies in the warehouse when required

• Logging orders onto a computer system and printing packing sheets

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Driver's Mate or similar delivery role

• Proven experience in safe manual handling of heavy and bulky goods (essential)

• Strong teamwork skills

• Positive attitude and professional manner

• Basic IT skills for logging orders

Full training will be provided.
