The Details of Housekeeping Supervisor role

• Location: South West London
• Pay Rate: £14.87 per hour
• Working Schedule: 5 days out of 7 (on a rota basis, flexibility required)

Key Responsibilities of Housekeeping Supervisor

• Supervise, train, and support the daily operations of the housekeeping team.
• Ensure all wards, public areas, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.
• Allocate daily tasks, manage staff rotas, and monitor performance.
• Conduct regular quality control checks and audits.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and COSHH regulations.
• Liaise effectively with hospital management and other departments to resolve any issues quickly.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in a housekeeping or cleaning supervisory role (experience within a clinical, healthcare, or hospital environment is highly advantageous).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts across a 5-day-out-of-7 rolling rota.
