About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Combi Lift Forklift Operator (FLT) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a Combi Lift forklift, handling materials, and supporting the logistics and warehouse operations. This role requires a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Combi Lift forklift to move, stack, and organize products and materials within the warehouse or yard.
Ensure the correct placement of goods in accordance with safety standards and operational requirements.
Load and unload goods from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling of items.
Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and report any faults or maintenance needs.
Work closely with warehouse staff to pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Adhere to all company policies, including health and safety regulations.
Assist in inventory management by conducting stock checks and assisting with stock replenishment.
Skills & Qualifications:
Valid Combi Lift Forklift License M2 (required).
Proven experience in operating a Combi Lift forklift or similar equipment.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations related to forklift operations.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physically capable of performing manual tasks and lifting heavy items as required.
Basic computer skills (for inventory tracking and reporting).
Desirable:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Knowledge of inventory management systems or warehouse management software.
A proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday 6AM-2PM Friday 6AM-1PM
Monday-Thursday 2PM-10PM Friday 1PM-8PM
