The Best Connection are looking for a Press Brake Setter / Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with sheet metalwork, and Press Brake Setting / Operating. This is a temporary to permanent position after a successful trial period of around 12 weeks.
Job Title: Brake Press Setter Operator
Location: Accrington
Pay: £14.50 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 16:30
Job Description: The ideal candidate will have around 5 years of experience in a metalwork manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating the Armada press brake machine.
- Unloading/loading of materials.
- Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Using various measuring tools to ensure precision and quality.
Requirements:
- Around 5 years experience in setting and operating brake press machines.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
- Skilled in using various measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
