The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Aston area of Birmingham. We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who is multi skilled in all areas of electrical maintenance. This is a great opportunity to secure a permanent placement before Christmas!! 

**Qualifications Required**

• Recognised engineering qualification to HNC or equivalent 
• IEE 17/18th Edition
• Desirable: MEWP Trained, FLT Trained, IOSH/NEBOSH Certified, food safety.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Knowledge & experience in building systems such as fire sprinkler systems, air conditioning and refrigeration.
• Fault Diagnosis and repairs of Electrical & Mechanical Systems.
• Maintaining upkeep of operational equipment.
• Supporting current projects supporting lean manufacturing techniques.
• Conducting routine maintenance checks and recording accurate data
• Supporting reasonable requests from the employer.

Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Experience in programming
• Good communications
• Demonstrate a logical approach to fault diagnosis.
• Working to own initiative
• PC literate.
• Pro-actively manage own time efficiently.

Hours of Work:

• Flexibility required for shifts 6.00 am – 14.00 pm , 14.00 pm – 10.00 pm and 7.00 – 15.30 pm 
• 5 days out of 7 
• Possibility of being on call out covering the night shift too
