The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Class 1 ADR for one of our clients.  We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Class 1 ADR to fulfil requirements in delivering fuel tanks and power equipment. 

This position requires a high level of responsibility, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Pay rate - £19 - 20 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for the delivery of flammable liquids to locations such as festivals.
• Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and ADR requirements.
• Safely operate a HIAB (Hook attachment)
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license.
• ADR (Accord Dangereux Routier) certification is essential (Class 3 Flammable Liquids Packages and Tanks).
• Valid CPC and Tacho cards.
• Previous experience as a Class 1 ADR driver
• Excellent driving record with no serious traffic violations.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Hiab certificate is preferred, not essential

Skills and Abilities:

• Flat trailer experience is preferred by not essential
• Must be happy to drive in London
• Must have flexibility to drive a range of different vehicles when required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork.
• Flexibility in working hours as days could be long and nights out may be required
• Fork Lift License is a benefit, not essential

• 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
