Successful Garage Door, entrance door and patio awning installation company is looking for an experienced Manager for their Watford Branch. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a small but busy team and manage the planning, co-ordination and operation of the branch.
Responsibilities will include;
- Managing a team of 4 staff
- Placing Bespoke Orders
- Pricing/Quotes
- Handling enquiries and sales of Garage Doors and related products
- Unloading and Checking Deliveries
- Responding to emails
- Dealing with telephone enquiries from the general public, work colleagues and suppliers
- Dealing with customers face to face
- Some heavy lifting involved
- Check condition and quantities of all delivered goods against delivery notes
Essential Skills/Competencies:
- Sales Skills
- Leadership Skills
- Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively
- Experience with Pricing/Quotes
- Experience Placing Bespoke Orders
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- IT literate
- Ability to Work in a Team Environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Clean driving licence – a maximum of 3 points is acceptable - no DD's or DR's
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in the Garage Door/Construction Industry, builders merchants, home improvements etc.
Hours:
- Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5.00pm plus Saturday 9.00 – 12.30pm on a rota basis
