The Best Connection, based in Newport, is currently recruiting for a client located in a central area of Newport who is seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper and Payroll Assistant. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with XERO payroll and XERO accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- ️ Administer weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls with accuracy.
- Communicate with clients to collect timesheets and necessary account-related documents.
- Generate customer invoices efficiently.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately.
✅ Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with XERO payroll and accounting.
- ️ Strong organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Location: Newport (Central Location)
Hours: 16-20 hours per week (afternoons 1-5pm)
Salary: £11.50 per hour
