Bendi Driver Required - Wednesbury

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Bendi (Flexi) Driver to join our client based in Wednesbury.

Working Hours

• Initial training period (first 2 weeks): 10:00 - 18:00
• Permanent shift: 14:00 - 22:00

Pay Rates

• 10:00 - 18:00: £12.71 per hour
• 14:00 - 22:00: £13.71 per hour

⚠️ Please note: This role involves 50% FLT work and 50% manual handling.

Key Duties

• Operating a Bendi (Flexi) truck to load and unload oil barrels
• Using the Bendi truck to palletise and move stock
• Manual handling of oil barrels
• Conducting daily pre-use checks on the FLT and reporting any defects
• Ensuring loads are secure and handled safely
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting other warehouse duties as required by the site manager

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Bendi/Flexi truck licence
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved)
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to different tasks
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations
• Punctual, reliable, and with a strong work ethic
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
