Are you a qualified electrical professional with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a Battery Test Technician to join our established client in Aviation industry.

Location: Crawley

Industry: Aviation

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Pay: £12.21 an hour to £15 per hour depending on experience

The Role:

• As a Battery Test Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying that batteries meet compliance and safety standards. You'll play a key role in ensuring all products are safe, reliable, and fully compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical testing on a range of battery types
• Ensure batteries meet required compliance and safety standards
• Accurately record and report test results
• Identify and report faults or non-conformities
• Maintain testing equipment and adhere to health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Recognised electrical qualification (preferred)
• Previous experience working as an electrician (advantageous)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
• Experience in testing and inspection (desirable)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
