Location: South West London

Pay Rate: £14.10 per hour (Weekly Pay)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 days out of 7 on a rotating weekly schedule)

Shift Pattern: 8-hour shifts scheduled between 07:30 and 18:30 (Full flexibility required)

About the Role

The Best Connection is currently recruiting an experienced, friendly, and polished Barista to join the catering and hospital hospitality team at a world-class Private Healthcare Provider in South West London.

In this role, you will be serving high-quality hot and cold beverages, light refreshments, and snacks to hospital visitors, patients, and medical staff within a premium café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving specialty espresso-based coffees, teas, and cold beverages to exceptional quality standards.
• Operating commercial espresso machines, grinders, and till/EPOS systems efficiently.
• Maintaining a welcoming, immaculate, and hygienic café area, counter display, and seating space.
• Monitoring stock levels, restocking milks, syrups, pastries, and grab-and-go food items.
• Taking customer orders accurately while managing payments and cash/card transactions.
• Adhering strictly to food safety, hygiene regulations, and allergen handling protocols.

Requirements

• Barista Experience: Proven experience operating commercial espresso coffee machines and preparing handcrafted hot drinks in a café, hotel, or retail setting.
• Shift Availability: Full flexibility to work 8-hour shifts scheduled between 07:30 and 18:30, 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis.
• Customer Service: Exceptional customer-facing skills, warm personality, and high standards of personal presentation.
• Hygiene: Knowledge or certification in Food Safety / Hygiene (Level 2 desirable).
• DBS Check: DBS check will be required for this placement (assistance provided during onboarding).
