The Best Connection are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic for a client based in Blackburn. The perfect candidate will join their team in maintaining and repairing vehicles. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the business.

Hours of work will be: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00

Salary will be between £25000 - £40000 depending on experience

Duties will include:

• Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tyre rotations/inspections, and brake inspections quarterly, on our curtesy and company vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various makes and models of vehicles
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs conducted
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow in the workshop
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Experience as a Mechanic or similar role
• Good knowledge of vehicles and vehicle repair
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Level 3 or higher qualification is essential
• MOT experience is desirable but not essential

Uniform will be provided for the right candidate once started.
