The Best Connection are looking for an Assistant Engineer to join an established, small, family run business in Goole. This would initially be a temporary position, with a view to becoming permanent following a successful trial period.

Successful applicants will:

• Be computer literate and ideally have experience using Solid Works programmes
• Be looking for a secure position, long term (not a stepping stone)
• Have excellent team working skills
• Have experience using hand and power tools and other manufacturing tools used in engineering
• Primarily work will be based in Goole but you would need to have your own transport and flexibility to work away ad hoc if working on customer's sites for installations and maintenance
• Be willing and able to learn the role and progress within the business

Pay, Hours and Benefits:

• Training and development
• 37 hours a week
• £25,000 a year starting salary
• 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 1pm Fridays
• Permanent position following a successful trial period
