The Best Connection are currently seeking Assembly Operatives for a Manufacturer of electrical products in the Telford area.
Pay £11.63 - £12.06 depending on grade with overtime available, paid at time and a third, half and double, depending on the circumstances.
Working Hours 7:00 to 16:15 Monday to Thursday; 7:00 to 11:00 on Friday
Breaks 10 minutes in the morning, 30 minute lunch and 10 minutes in the afternoon.
Responsibilities of the Assembly Operatives
- Working in a busy and fast pace environment.
- Using power tools to assemble the items
- Being able to read drawings.
- Work to a specific speed to achieve the businesses takt-time to build the products
- Quality checks
- Working within a team environment
- House Keeping
Inductions will be required to work on the site: this involves a numeracy and literacy test and due to assembling electrical components which has a number of different coloured items; a colour sight test will also be given.
Requirements of the Assembly Operatives
- Attention to detail.
- Being able to use power tools
- Good accuracy and organisational skills.
- Ability to work to target.
- Good communication skills
- Standing on your feet all day
