£16.04 per hour - Overtime paid at £24.06 per hour Monday to Friday Immediate Starts Available

Training will be on a day shift paid at £13.95 per hour - 0730-1715 Monday to Thursday (3-4 weeks)

Shift Options:

Early Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 05:45 - 14:00
• Friday: 05:45 - 12:45

Afternoon Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 13:30 - 21:45
• Friday: 11:45 - 18:45

The Role

The Best Connection are recruiting for a skilled and reliable Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Stockport area.

This is a varied and hands-on role, combining precision assembly work with supporting warehouse and stores operations. We're looking for someone with excellent manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble products to a high standard of quality and accuracy

Work from instructions and specifications to complete assembly tasks

Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch

Assembly duties - Manual dexterity skills required

Maintain stock accuracy and support inventory control activities

Support both Production and Stores departments as required

Assist with operational demands during peak periods, holidays and staff absences

Help ensure customer orders are completed on time and to the highest standards

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or assembly environment

Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail

Mechanically minded with the ability to use hand tools confidently (advantageous)

Good organisational and communication skills

Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business

Self-motivated and capable of working independently

Reliable, punctual and committed to quality workmanship

Recent and stable work history
