Area Distribution Driver

Kidlington | £24,000-£25,000 per annum | Permanent | Monday to Friday

The Best Connection Oxford is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established print distribution business, for a reliable and customer-focused Area Distribution Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and replenishing printed brochures and leaflets across an established network of display locations within your designated area.

Following full training, you will become familiar with your regular routes and locations, taking ownership of ensuring displays remain well-stocked, tidy and presentable.

Your duties will include:

• Driving between designated locations to replenish brochures, leaflets and other printed materials.
• Maintaining existing display points and ensuring printed materials are presented neatly.
• Building positive working relationships with display partners and site contacts.
• Representing the business professionally while visiting customer locations.
• Planning and managing your daily routes effectively.
• Loading, carrying and unloading boxes of printed materials.
• Working independently while maintaining high standards of reliability and service.

Please note: The display units remain in place. Your role is to maintain the printed materials within them, rather than install or remove the displays themselves.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can be trusted to manage their own area and daily responsibilities.

You will need:

• A valid UK driving licence and a safe, confident approach to driving.
• Fluent English and good communication skills.
• A friendly, professional and presentable manner.
• Confidence communicating with customers and business contacts.
• Good organisation and time-management skills.
• The physical fitness required to lift and carry boxes of printed materials.
• The ability to work independently, follow routes and manage your workload.
• A reliable, responsible and positive attitude.

Previous experience in driving, delivery, field-based work, merchandising or customer service would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
