The Best Connection are currently seeking Airline Catering Assistant for an In-flight Catering company in Crawley proving you with a chance to connect with the skies.
Position - Airline Catering Assistant (full time hours)
Location - Crawley
Shifts - 4 on 2 off
Hours - Two earlies 0600-1430 and two lates 1330-2200
Pay - 12.32 hr
Duties of the Airline Catering Assistant:

- Check all products before packing to ensure they meet specifications.
- Pack carts to the required standard, based on passenger numbers.
- Maintain stock levels and rotate for maximum shelf life.
- Comply with HMRC regulations and report breakages (e.g., china, glass).
- Conduct final search and screening.
- Regularly lift weights (12-15kg), including overhead lifting.
- Adhere to inflight services security and cleanliness standards.
- Follow unit safety protocols and clean-as-you-go practices.
- Interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and clients.
- Comply with all corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as requested by your manager.
Requirements for applying for the role with The Best Connection
- Good level of written and verbal English
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently once fully familiarised with the role
- Will need to sit and pass their GSAT (General Security and Awareness Training)
As you will be partially working at Gatwick Airport you would need to undergo the following:
- Apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!)
- Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!)
- Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
- Provide a full 5-year address history - Attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us!)
