The Best Connection Group are looking for a reliable and hardworking Farm Worker to join one of our poultry farming clients on the outskirts of Driffield.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining bird welfare, collecting eggs, and ensuring farm buildings remain clean and well managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect eggs from poultry houses and prepare them for storage and dispatch.
• Monitor bird health and welfare throughout the day.
• Remove and dispose of deceased birds in accordance with farm procedures and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within poultry sheds and surrounding areas.
• Report any concerns relating to bird welfare, equipment, or health and safety.
• Assist with general farm duties as required.

Requirements

• Good level of physical fitness and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable handling poultry and working in a farm environment.
• Ability to follow health, safety, and biosecurity procedures.
• Previous agricultural or livestock experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Pay rate: £12.71 an hour
