🚛 Street Cleansing Operative (Mini Road Sweeper Driver)

Location: Clean & Green Environmental Depot, Brownhills, WS7 8EN

Pay Rate: £14.82 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Duration: 3 months (potential to extend)

🕒 Working Hours

• Start Time: 06:15
• Finish Time: 16:15
• Hours: 37 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (4 days per week)
• Rest Day: 1 day off during the week

🚧 Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Street Cleansing Operative / Mini Road Sweeper Driver to join a busy environmental services team. You will be responsible for operating vehicles over 3.5 tonnes while supporting a range of street cleansing and grounds maintenance activities.

✅ Key Duties

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Operating mini road sweepers (vehicles over 3.5 tonnes)
• Street cleansing and litter picking
• Mechanical sweeping operations
• Removal of fly-tipping and bulky waste
• Street weed and vegetation control
• Graffiti removal
• Play area inspections, reporting, and maintenance
• Site clearance and general tidy-up works

You may also support:

• Grounds maintenance (grass cutting, hedge trimming, turf care)
• Domestic waste and recycling collections
• Commercial waste collection services
• Cemetery and boundary maintenance services

🪪 Essential Requirements

• C1 Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification
• Tachograph Card
• No more than 3 penalty points on licence
