7.5T Flatbed Driver (C1)

Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | 05:30 Start
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T Flatbed Driver (C1) to join our client based in Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver looking for regular weekday work with a well-established company.

Job Role

As a 7.5T Flatbed Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently while ensuring all loads are correctly secured using ratchet straps and transport regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5T flatbed vehicle to customer locations
• Safely securing loads using ratchet straps
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Ensuring compliance with Driver's Hours and road transport legislation
• Maintaining a clean and professional vehicle

Requirements

• Minimum 6 month's commercial C1 driving experience
• Previous flatbed driving experience
• Experience using ratchet straps to secure loads
• Valid UK C1 Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
