7.5T Driver - £13.50 per hour - Adhoc Sickness & Holiday Cover - Min 8 Hours - Altham & Surrounding Areas

We're looking for reliable 7.5‑tonne (C1) Drivers to support our clients across Altham and the surrounding areas on an adhoc basis, covering sickness, holidays, and short‑notice requirements. This is ideal for drivers who enjoy a mix of delivery work with steady day shifts.

Pay & Hours

• £13.50 per hour (PAYE)
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
• Typical start time: 08:00
• Shifts generally range from 8-12 hours
• Weekly pay

The Work

This is a multidrop 7.5t delivery role involving:

• Multiple deliveries per shift
• Handball required (loading/unloading where needed)
• Customer‑facing service
• Use of tail lifts and pump trucks (where applicable)
• Route planning support from experienced transport teams

Expect a varied working day with a combination of business and customer locations.

Requirements

To apply, you must have:

• Valid 7.5t (C1) licence
• CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Comfortable with manual handling and multidrop
• Good understanding of WTD & driver hours
• A professional, reliable, safety‑focused approach
• Minor points considered
