Our client based in Coalville are looking for a LGV C1 drivers to join their team offering immediate starts

Working for a family owned business who have been trading for 80 years, you would be a integral part of their customers experience.

Positions start between 03:00 and 05:00

The role involves delivering to closed businesses and requires some handball

The Driver will deliver to between 5 and 15 restaurants across the Midlands region, depending on distance. Keys and Alarm codes will be used to access sites and product will be left in designated areas via use of a sack-barrow.

All roles offer an excellent opportunity of a permanent position upon successful competition of a trial period. The shift pattern involves Saturdays and is normally 6 days one week and 4 days the next.

Requirements:

• A full UK driving licence with category C1 (7.5 tonne) entitlement
• Newly passed accepted
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years

Driver Responsibilities:

• Check the vehicle regularly and report any issues
• Drive safely and follow all traffic laws
• Deliver goods on time, in full and to the correct areas in client premises
• Hold to keys to multiple premises
• Keep records of deliveries, mileage, and issues
• Report delays, accidents, or problems to the site manager
