The Best Connection are recruiting for 2x 6G Tig Welders to work in the Brownhills / Aldridge this is a temp to perm for a successful candidate on completion of a weld test.

Your daily duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Coded welding
• 6G Welding position
• Welding of stainless and carbon steel tubes
• Positional welding on pressure vessels, pressure parts and super heaters pipework

The Ideal Candidate:

• Will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (essential)
• Be confident with 6G TIG welding
• Previous qualifications/coding’s
• Weld trade test will be required
• Will be able for his butt welds to pass X-ray

Pay Rates:

• Rate of pay £14 to start moving to £15 after coding (There is an additional 5% cost of living payment payable until next October once they become permanent)
• Dayshift 8-4.30 Mon to Thu & 8-1.30 Friday
• Potential for shift work that carried a 33% premium
