The Best Connection are currently looking for a plant operative to join our busy client based in Southfleet.

Shifts are Monday to Friday 0600- 1700

Pay is between is £13- £14 per hour, dependent on experience

Must have 360 degree Wheeled Excavator Ticket and experience, preferable in the waste sector

Wheeled Loader (Shovel)  and Forklift license would be a distinct advantage.

Duties include:

• Completing daily inspections of mobile plant
• Light maintenance of machines including greasing and clearing debris 
• Ensuring health and safety aspects are being adhered to
• Assisting with other machine operator duties where necessary
• Obtain and use the correct tools, equipment for work
• To ensure the transfer station plant operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to work within a fast paced environment
• An excellent team player and a good communicator 
• Must be calm and professional at all times
• Must be able to complete checklists and reports
