Our client, based in Park Royal, is looking for dedicated and reliable Food Production Operatives to join their team. This role requires working in a chilled environment and is ideal for someone with previous experience in cold storage or similar conditions.
- Monday to Friday ( Flexible to work Saturday/Sunday as an additional shift )
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM ( May change to 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM )
- Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
- £12.21 per hour / Weekly pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receive and unload deliveries, verifying the accuracy and condition of incoming goods.
- Organize and store products in designated areas, maintaining stock integrity and cleanliness.
- Prepare and pack orders accurately for dispatch to customers, ensuring timely delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet trucks (training provided if needed).
- Conduct routine stock checks and assist in inventory management to maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment in line with company and food safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards promptly.
- Follow all health and safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a chilled environment is essential
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -18°C for extended periods
- Good level of physical fitness – heavy lifting involved
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent punctuality and reliability
- Willingness to work occasional Saturdays when required
