The Best Connection are recruiting for SMT Operatives for our client based in the Copthorne area. We are recruiting on a Temporary to Permanent basis, with our client going strength to strength over the recent years.  

Duties (not exhaustive): 

• Operate SMT machines, including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment.

• Set up SMT production lines by loading feeders, preparing solder paste, and verifying component placement.

• Monitor the production process to ensure high-quality output and adherence to production schedule. 

• Collaborate with the quality control team to implement improvements and corrective actions. 

Pay rate: £12.30 - £14.50 dependent on experience 
Role: SMT Operative 
Location: Copthorne 
Start Date: ASAP 

For the role you will need: 

• GCSE or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and a technical mind set to work with small components. 
• Proficient in using various hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Previous experience with in a production role would be beneficial but not essential. 
• Happy to be on your feet for the majority of the day.
